Forecasting and capacity planning: Develop detailed forecasts for machines and configurations required for new product introduction (NPI) projects, analyzing key factors such as capacity, location, quantity, delivery timelines, and technical specifications-Machine learning hardware management: Support machine learning and GPU-focused projects by incorporating global GPU availability and performance data into forecast and ordering decisions-Readiness for critical testing phases: Oversee machine readiness for DVT (Design Validation Test) and PVT (Production Validation Test) phases, identifying configuration improvements and addressing potential issues before order placement-Order placement and tracking: Place hardware orders on time, ensuring they meet project requirements and resolving any blockers throughout the fulfillment process-Collaboration with global teams: Partner with over 30 cross-functional teams to align machine forecasts and orders with project goals, technical requirements, and timelines-Issue resolution and risk management: Monitor placed orders to identify and resolve issues before fulfillment starts, ensuring a seamless handoff to the Global Infrastructure Group team-Supply chain and logistics oversight: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of hardware-Performance tracking and reporting: Create detailed reports on forecast accuracy, order status, and machine readiness to provide visibility and improve decision-making processes-Technical compliance: Ensure that all machines meet project-specific technical standards and deployment requirements-Fulfillment support: Work closely with the Global Infrastructure Group team to facilitate smooth machine deployment and capacity ramp-up during general availability (GA).
