ABOUT MATTEO MARCHIONE
Currently working as Lead of the AI & Data Science Team at Innovation Engineering, I’m responsible for delivering advanced data-driven solutions spanning Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and Big Data technologies. My role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of projects: from translating business needs into actionable technical requirements, to defining scalable and secure architectures, guiding development teams through implementation, and ensuring successful deployment. I provide both strategic direction and hands-on mentorship, ensuring our solutions are robust, secure, and aligned with stakeholder expectations. This includes maintaining high standards in software quality, data governance, and security compliance. My position combines technical leadership, architectural vision, and cross-functional collaboration to turn innovative ideas into tangible results. Before this, I worked in top-tier IT consulting firms (Accenture and NTT Data) supporting high-impact projects mainly in the CMT sector. My experience spans applied Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Data Visualization and Business Intelligence. I have a strong academic background in applied mathematics leading to great capabilities of data management, analysis and modeling. Strong supporter of collective work, I believe and act for an inclusive environment that is able to think diversity as a value. I consider myself as a communicative person with good relational and management skills, able to handle situations with a great level of responsibility.
