Marc joined the Shirlaws Group in - its inception year. The first company we scaled using our IP was Shirlaws Australia.From to 2002, Shirlaws was Business Review Weekly’s 7th fastest growing company in Australia. The following year Shirlaws made The BRW Fast 100 again and was a finalist for The Australian Small Business of the Year.In 2003, Marc pioneered the international expansion of Shirlaws by the founding of Shirlaws in the USA. During his 5 years as CEO the business experienced >100% year on year growth to 3 offices, 5 Partners and 27 staff including an external investment in 2006.During his 8 years in the US, Marc coached and advised a wide variety of businesses from Kleiner Perkins/Apple ifund portfolio companies in Silicon Valley through to PwC, Sony, Morgan Stanley and everything in between.Marc also served on the Board of The Bank of San which was profitable through the US recession and was Chairman of the San Francisco Chapter of Advance – Australia’s leading global expatriate community Marc was also an investing member of The Keiretsu Forum, North America\'s largest angel investment group.Marc’s passions include community service, travel, skiing and being on, in or near the water.
