On a pro bono basis, I\'ve represented more than 100 unaccompanied children and families who must navigate the U.S. immigration system and adjust to life in Los Angeles. I know firsthand that immigration can be confusing, polarizing, and paralyzing — even for people of good will seeking to understand. With a lawyer’s analysis and a social ethicist’s sensitivity, I want to put names and stories to the “issue” of immigration. My work invites people to a deeper understanding that changes hearts and provokes action.
