Senior Program Manager @Morgan McKinley

Dublin, IE

Project managing the delivery of New Bus Depots for the National Transport Authority (NTA) within the BusConnects program, a key part of Government policy to improve public transport and address climate change in Ireland’s major urban centres. BusConnects is a multi-million Euro NTA Programme, funded by Project Ireland 2040, to connect people and places through an enhanced bus system together with improved cycling and pedestrian facilities. I am delivering a network of suitably designed and adequately sized bus depots with provision for electric charging infrastructure, at appropriate locations across Ireland - Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, and Waterford. This delivery is required to support- the strategic Bus Depot Strategy 20••••35- strategies for the decarbonisation of the transport system- plans to significantly expand bus services- the transition of the bus fleet from diesel fuelled buses to zero emission technologies. Project Managing internal and external stakeholders, consultants and contractors through concept design, site selection, due diligence, planning all the way through construction works and handover to operations. Delivering projects in compliance with Public Procurement and the requirements of the Infrastructure Guidelines.
