Responsible for heading Brexit Readiness. ITC Focal UK. Maintain control and ensure regulations to all imports and export processes are aligned and compliant with Carrier corporate policies and British regulations. Evaluate any new customs requirements and change in export-import flows. Supervise every day operations providing efficient communication with Customs Broker, Transport Provider, and warehouse personnel. Keep track of processes and shipments with France, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Northern Ireland. Ensure optimal level of customer service for both import and export and resolution of shipment issues. Review and update tariff codes for new products or manufacturers. Perform all record-keeping tasks and maintain records of all entries for both Import and Export. Ensure records are easily retrievable. Review invoices from Customs Brokers and Couriers to ensure accuracy of values and tariff codes. Work with Finance Department to ensure all VAT declarations are correct. Collaborate with Customs Broker to provide clearance where Certificates of Origin are needed. Monitor and respond to all Customs inquiries and requests. Perform regular audits to all documentation. Assist 3rd Party suppliers in EU shipping parts to UK. Serve as a single point of contact for local and EU Trade compliance authorities. Manage Export registration and Address export control and sanctions Liaise and follow up with Factory in France in relation to UKCA Markings and any other certifications that may arise in the future. Liaise with Manufacturers to obtain certification on controlled goods. Cooperate closely with Finance Department to ensure all Compliance Reviews for Customs Brokers are up-to-date. Point of contact for CTUK with ITC EMEA. Point of contact for CTUK with VAT Team. Advise Sales Teams on export and import formalities for customers. Responsible for providing information for HMRC and external audits
