I am a fourth-year student at UC Santa Barbara, pursuing a triple major in Global Studies, Communication, and Spanish. My academic and research interests center on the experiences of undocumented immigrants and family separation.I serve as the Student Body President at UCSB, representing and advocating for over students on university, local, and state levels as an elected official. As President, I am actively working on multiple projects to address the basic needs issues of students, such as food insecurity, housing safety, mental health, overdose prevention, and public safety.I am driven by a deep commitment to equity and human rights, and I am passionate about refugee and immigrant advocacy, global access to education, and digital inequality. I aspire to build a career in social justice, working to create inclusive systems that empower marginalized communities around the world. Let’s connect!

1. Chief Executive Officer President

   I represent and advocate for over students on university, local, and state levels as an elected official- I collaborate with UCSB administration, including the office of the Chancellor, to shape university policies, and convey student perspectives, aligning with the Association\'s strategic vision and university objectives- I direct all functions of the non-profit organization, which includes managing a budget of over $16 million in student fee with a commitment to financial responsibility and efficiency, and providing comprehensive trainings and leadership development to over 400 student leaders and 38 professional staff- I spearheaded institutional changes to improve the communication and coordination of AS, including changing the reporting structure to be more efficient and engaging and reinvigorating the mentorship program to promote learning and retention - I maintain consistent relations with constituents through weekly Coffee with the President office hours, social media outreach, and establishing an AS Newsletter to ensure transparency and robust communication- I hire, train, and supervise an office of 21 members, empowering them to fulfill both my platform and their own goals by hosting events and leading projects to serve students, including a Mental Health Town Hall, ICE response training, and farmer’s market- I co-chaired the Search Advisory Committee to hire a new Executive Director of A.S, which consisted of selecting committee members, updating the job description, reviewing applicants, conducting virtual interviews, hosting campus visits, and leading deliberation discussions, while ensuring an unbiased process as well as transparency to the A.S. Senate
