ABOUT LAURIE ELSASS

As a Navy daughter and longtime Dublin, Ohio resident, I’ve spent my life rooted in service, advocacy, and community. Since 1990, I’ve raised three incredible young men in Dublin and have poured my heart into this city I proudly call home.My professional background spans decades of public service—including campaign work, lobbying on economic development issues under Governors George Voinovich and Bob Taft, and fundraising in both political and nonprofit sectors. Today, I channel that experience into real estate as CEO of the Laurie Elsass Group with KW Capital Partners in Central Ohio, and I’m also licensed in Naples, Florida with KW Elite Realty.In 2020, my family faced a personal turning point when we moved my parents from Atlanta to be closer to me after my father’s dementia diagnosis. Navigating the challenges of senior care firsthand deeply impacted me—and inspired my decision to specialize in helping older adults through complex, later-in-life real estate transitions.I’m proud to hold both the SRES® (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and CSHPS (Certified Senior Housing Professional) designations, equipping me with the tools and compassion to support seniors and their families during these deeply personal moves. I collaborate with a trusted network of professionals to ensure every detail—from downsizing to emotional support—is handled with care.Beyond real estate, my life’s work continues in advocacy and recovery support. I’ve served on the Dublin Board of Zoning Appeals and the State Medical Board of Ohio. I founded H2O, a support group for parents of children struggling with substance use disorder, and co-founded Heartland High School, Ohio’s only recovery-based school for teens. After the loss of my son, I helped establish the R.E.I.D. Foundation to provide musical instruments and healing through music to individuals in recovery and incarcerated communities.Whether it’s helping a family through a home transition or supporting a parent navigating substance use challenges, my mission remains the same: to serve with empathy, purpose, and lasting impact.
