ABOUT LAUREN KOCH
With over 10 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management, I am currently the Sustainability Program Manager at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC), where I lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies, policies, and programs across the organization. I have a Master of Environment and Natural Resources (MENR) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University, as well as skills in writing, fundraising, and team building. Prior to joining OSUWMC, I worked as an Associate Director and a Member Engagement Manager at Practice Greenhealth, a non-profit organization that promotes environmental stewardship and health care sustainability. There, I supported and engaged with over 1,500 health care members, delivered educational and technical assistance, and coordinated climate and health projects. My mission is to advance the health and well-being of people and the planet through sustainable practices and policies. I am passionate about collaborating with diverse stakeholders, creating positive change, and sharing best practices in the field of sustainability and health care.
