About Krissy Carr Groom
I started my tech career as a data scientist on an AI team with the intention to contribute to compassionate, inclusive, and socially-responsible technologies, particularly in the field of AI. I am most passionate about the human-centered & ethical side of tech.I\'m fascinated with human interactions and emotions, which guided my past educational choices in psychology, leadership, women\'s studies, and eventually computer science. My transition from a non-tech background into CS and now UX Research affirmed my commitment to support under-represented individuals to thrive and stay in tech. I am wholeheartedly an advocate for a more inclusive and diverse field to create the most life-enhancing innovations that can support all of us.
