Leadership & Team Management: Led a team of up to 7 direct reports and 35 team members across HSE, quality, gas networks, engineering, procurement, and operations and maintenance. Located across Taranaki and the Eastern Bay of Plenty. • Operational Excellence: Oversee the functional delivery of the generation strategy, ensuring asset availability, reliability, safety, and environmental compliance.• Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio including 200 MW of simple cycle gas turbines, 30 MW of cogeneration plant, and a 2 MW solar PV facility.• Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement and organizational development to enhance operational efficiency. Developing Asset Management strategies in line with the Institute of Asset Management guidelines.• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, fostering a culture of safety. Maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management System & NZS 7901 for Public Safety.• Financial Oversight: Prepare and control CAPEX ($8 Million) & OPEX ($220 million) budgets, optimising financial performance.• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to support operational goals.
