ABOUT KEITH GALLOWAY

Senior Vice President of M&A and Business DevelopmentI\'m a seasoned professional in the school bus transportation industry, having begun my career with my family owned company, Galloway School Lines, Inc, in 1983. The family sold Galloway School Lines to Laidlaw in 1992. I continued to develop my strength in leadership while at Laidlaw/First Student, holding several positions including Branch Manager, District Director of Operations, Area General Manager, and Director of Business Development. I joined Durham School Services in 2010 as an Area General Manager, responsible for six Customer Service Center locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I served as the Director of Business Development and Acquisitions for the Eastern United States for National Express from 2011 to June 2018 at which time I joined Student Transportation Inc as VP of M&A and Business Development. During my career, I have repeatedly been called on in the most difficult situations to troubleshoot failing operations. In addition to my school bus experience, I am an honored veteran having served in the US Army and in the US Air Force National Guard. My current professional associations include the National School Transportation Association, Rhode Island Association of School Administrators, Rhode Island Association of School Business Officials, New York Association of School Business Officials, New York Association of School Administrators, New York Association of Pupil Transportation, Pennsylvania School Board Association, Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials, Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators, New Jersey School Board Association, South Carolina School Board Association, South Carolina Association of School Administrators, Connecticut School Transportation Association, and School Transportation Association of Massachusetts.I received the prestigious National School Transportation Association’s Golden Merit Award in 2012, recognizing my superior service to the school, community, and the pupil transportation industry. Received the prestigious NSTA Committee Member of the Year 2024. I am a current member of the NSTA Business Development and Membership Committee.
