ABOUT KAREN BOWMAN
I like solving problems and educating on all thing Corrosion. I approach corrosion problems like most corrosion engineers by asking more questions. No piece of information is too small. With almost 20 years in the oil & gas industry, I have been involved in both downhole production wells, storage wells, and pipelines. i spent most of my career in Pipeline Integrity and know PHMSA regulations very well. I am very active in AMPP (formerly NACE) certification boards. I was the President (and Past President) of the NACE institute Pipeline Certification Board. I am the current vice-chair of the AMPP certification committee. I am the past General Chair of the Appalachian Underground Corrosion Short Course held annually in Morgantown, WV.
