ABOUT KAEDEN THEOBALD

I am an incoming Senior at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and minoring in Entrepreneurship. During my first semester at Miami, I was enrolled and had an opportunity to participate in a set of classes called the First Year Integrated Core. These classes comprised analytical skills, coding, creativity and innovation, and communication skills that prepared me for future projects and classes. I got to work hands-on with FC Cincinnati on creating a marketing strategy with a small group of students to expand their fanbase. I have been grateful to continue to use these skills throughout my other semesters here at Miami within classes and projects. Since then, I have worked directly with Abbott in Marketing 325, specifically their Pedialyte brand, to increase sales using consumer insights and market research. I have also collaborated with a small team to create a mock AI Augmentation Course for companies to purchase for employee certifications. These projects have not only taught me how to collaborate with team members, but to fail and find the second right answers. Alongside classes at Miami, I am highly interested in the sports aspect of marketing. I intern for Miami Football Recruiting part-time during the school year. I actively work with coaches and staff in weekly tasks to ensure recruits and their families get top-tier experiences when they visit. While directing tours of facilities, I also work weekly in the ARMS database, Excel spreadsheets, and organize paperwork to ensure coaches\' success in looking at these recruits. My time at Miami has taught me many skills and real-world experiences that have not only been challenging but rewarding. I cannot wait to spend the next two years learning from different classes, clubs, organizations, and experiences.
