Senior Engineer with responsibility as a Nominated Person under EASA Part-21 Subpart-J Design Organisation Approval, holding the position of Chief of the Independent Monitoring Function (CIMF); with respect to the independent monitoring function I am the primary contact and supervisor of the Commercial Modifications Europe, Boeing Global Services (BGS), Boeing Ireland Limited (BIL) Design Organisation Approval (DOA - EASA.21J.681), ensuring that design activities comply with EASA Part-21 requirements. Nominated by the Head of Design (HDO) to hold this position, and responsible for overseeing the independent audits of the organization\'s design-related activities to ensure continuous compliance and safety. The BIL DOA is a key capability supporting Commercial Modifications Europe, part of the Commercial Modifications & Maintenance (CMM) business within BGS.The role of the CIMF is to ensure that:(1) the activities of the organisation are monitored for compliance with the applicable requirements and any additional requirements as established by the BIL DOA, and that those activities are performed properly under the supervision of the nominated persons that are referred to in point EASA Part-21 21.A.245(b);(2) an audit plan is properly implemented, maintained, and continually reviewed and improved; and (3) corrections and corrective action are requested, as necessary.Active Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Ambassador and part of the Boeing UK & Ireland STEM Steering Committee, and an active mentor.Former Senior Quality Manager at Boeing, where I lead safety and quality initiatives that support Commercial Services programs for Boeing Global Services (BGS). In my role as the BGS Safety & Quality Europe Leader, I am dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across diverse aviation programs.With extensive experience as a leader, manager, and lead auditor, I have a proven track record in Safety, Quality, and Compliance. My professional goals are centered around advancing within business leadership and management roles across Boeing, or other dynamic markets.
