Job Responsibilities : • Lead the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for network transport technologies and services. Lead and organizes the creation and documentation of network designs. Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques. Prepares, deploys and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages. • Lead the maintenance of network systems. Develops and implements cost control action plans based upon review of internal and sourced infrastructure. Lead and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects. • Research, develop, document and deploy emerging Wireless and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as it applies in the realm of Enterprise Location System infrastructure (ELSi) technologies and techniques, determining proper integration into existing systems to meet customer needs, as directed. • Develop, build, test and deliver/deploy new Wireless and Radio Frequency Identification technology products or services. • Represent Boeing to suppliers to influence product directions to achieve desired business capabilities and results. • Document information such as configuration, installation and user guides following process standards. • Develop test plans such as functional, integration, usability and security and ensure completion of tests. Document and present results and findings to stakeholders and peers to validate system functions as required. • Research, test and configure new Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) related products and provide recommendations to set architecture standards.
