ABOUT JOSH SRP

I am an experienced manager with a track record for empowering my team to perform effectively and efficiently. I lead a team of experienced Maximo Reliability Coordinators that ensure that transmission substation assets are tracked accurately in keeping pace with our $900M+ annual capital program. We track over 40k assets at over 400 substations across the state of Texas in the ERCOT region and ensure the maintenance program is properly executed. I’m personally responsible for compliance with NERC PRC-005-6 and successfully led LCRA TSC through an audit without any findings of non-compliance. I also contribute as an SME on NERC FAC-003-4. Under my guidance, we’ve developed data and tools to proactively monitor for non-compliance. I also lead another team of talented developers and database administrators with a mission of solving transmission business problems by applying technology solutions. This team has built data warehouses for assets and projects, applications to support project planning and development, an application to manage our system ratings (FAC-008) and create APIs to provide data with a “single source of truth” mindset. We are champions of technology within LCRA and push to keep moving the organization forward through the development and maintenance of Transmission’s technology roadmap. Personally, I embrace a people first, safety first mentality and work to eliminate internal barriers in the organization that interfere with productivity. I lead from the front and use my knowledge and connections to recommend and execute solutions to improve processes. I take a “systems thinking” approach to problem solving and process improvement. I look for the solutions that balance impact with cost. I have strong technical skills and am adept with IBM Maximo, SQL queries, computers, networking, Excel, SharePoint, and Atlassian Jira Server.
