ABOUT JOHN J ZOLLINGER

Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer at Home Bank. John is celebrating his 15th year with the company and his 35th year as a banker in 2025. John is responsible for the Commercial Banking, Treasury Management and Mortgage line of business at Home Bank covering 7 markets: Acadiana, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Northshore, Houston TX, Natchez MS and Southwest Louisiana.Home Bank is a century old Louisiana-based community bank headquartered in Lafayette, LA focused on serving small business owners and their businesses. John was born in New Orleans and is happy to answer your first question: He graduated from Jesuit High School. He is also a graduate of Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. He earned his MBA from the University of New Orleans, and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. John believes that as a community banker it is his duty and privilege to give back. He is proud to have served for 11 years as Trustee of his alma mater, Spring Hill College. John is also a former Chairman of the Board of Boy’s Town Louisiana. He is also a former commissioner on the First Planning District Workforce Board (Tri-Parish Works) covering St. Tammany, St. Bernard and Plaquemine Parishes, as well as, the Economic Development Board of St. Tammany. Today, John is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of Reconcile New Orleans. He also serves on the Board of Directors and of GNO, Inc. the regional economic development agency for the 10-parish area around New Orleans. John is also a director of Biloxi Marsh Lands Corporation (BLMC). BLMC is the largest land owner in St. Bernard Parish Louisiana with title to approximately acres. John is a graduate of the 2012 Class of Leadership St. Tammany West, and a proud member of the BEST class of 2019 of New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI).
