ABOUT JOHN ONEILL

Manufacturing operations leader with lean/six sigma experience in a broad array of manufacturing environments. I enjoy the opportunity to encourage my teams to take responsibility for our success by giving them the authority to take action. My role is to set the tone, general direction and eliminate roadblocks. One key, and often avoided leadership task is ensuring one has the right team members in the right role. I have learned over the years, that although that is often the least enjoyable duty, it is the most critical and cannot be delegated. Lastly, I have learned that too many organizations either don\'t have a clear strategy, or they don\'t always exercise the discipline to adhere to that strategy. I have learned to drive teams to see the big picture.
