Service Foods was founded in 1983 by the Balar family and has expanded to servicing foodservice businesses across New Zealand (and some aboard). Operations include; butchery processing, small goods processing (Leonard\'s and Wild acre brands), prepared produce (fruit and vegetables), fish processing (Auckland only), warehousing and distribution. My role includes setting and implementing the strategy for ensuring we keep our people safe, and that the products that we deliver to our customers are safe and meets our quality expectations. We have dedicated Quality & Compliance Coordinators at our food processing sites supporting operations to keep continuously improving our processes. All of our sites have passionate teams who strive for the highest standards everyday to provide unparalelled service to our customers.
