About Jasmin Dave

I’m a global events strategy and operations leader with 30+ years across global conferences, sponsorship, and media. I\'ve built high-touch, flagship experiences that scale like a product, strong operational rigor, deep care for brand expression, and a focus on growing communities of developers, researchers, customers, and partners. I\'m currently Senior Director, Global Events at NVIDIA, where I\'ve spent 17+ years helping make events a strategic pillar of the business and a platform for long-term relationships. My focus is developing and executing a global events strategy that aligns with business goals and works in the real world, venue operations, production logistics, broadcast integration, safety protocols, and the thousands of details that decide whether an experience feels effortless or chaotic. In 2009, I helped initiate and founded NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) and have been fortunate to help grow it from an initial 1,500-person gathering into one of the world’s most recognized AI conferences, reaching global participants annually across formats. Over time, I\'ve produced 50+ global GTC conferences across North America, Europe, and Asia, including regional programs in China and Japan. In 2025, GTC drew in-person attendees in San Jose and people joining virtually worldwide, delivered sessions and 400+ exhibits, and generated $185M+ in economic impact for the city.I\'ve built and scaled multi-disciplinary teams with global scope, typically flexing from 40 to 90+ people seasonally, across content, marketing, sponsorships, logistics/operations, registration/housing, special events, and A/V, with 10 direct leaders and broader teams across EMEA and APAC. I\'m also a big believer in modern event technology, integrating AI and automation to reduce manual work, improve real-time decision-making, and free teams up for higher-value, higher-visibility work.Outside the day-to-day, I stay involved in the industry as a speaker and an advocate for giving event leaders a real seat at the strategic table, because events don\'t just support the business when they\'re done well, they help shape it. I care deeply about community and supporting the next generation through mentorship, and I’ve been humbled to be recognized as a Top 50 influential event leader in the world and to receive the YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Award as well as the WASH 100 award.
