Responsible for the comprehensive operations of the Huntsville Office answering to the ARES Senior VP for Operations. Duties include: 1) Confer with ARES management, engineering and business development staff to evaluate potential HSV business opportunities. 2) Coordinate, lead and direct HSV Office projects, with detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. 3) Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan assess, and capture new business opportunities. 4) Plan and maintain HSV Office facility and equipment. 5) Ensure ARES HSV Office for AS9100 certification. Coordinate all activities required for HSV Office AS9100certification. 6) Recruit employees; recommend hiring to ARES Senior VP for Operations; hire, assign, direct, and evaluate all HSV Office staff work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff capability. 7) Serve as HSV proposal manager for HSV Office procurements involving existing multi-award IDIQ efforts and other proposals assigned by the ARES Senior VP for Operations. 8) Keep ARES Senior VP for Operations informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying market trends. 10) Achieve HSV Office financial objectives by tracking operational goals against the HSV Business Plan. Bi-monthly review of HSV Office invoices and accounts receivable to ensure timely billing and payment by the customer. 11) Develop the annual HSV Business Plan to effectively document annual revenue and contributions. 12) Develop a strong local ARES presence in the NASA and DOD community.
