Landing & Recovery (L&R) Deputy Element Operations Manager/Integration Engineer supporting NASA\'s Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Program in the Operations and Test Management Division’s Mission Branch to manage L&R schedules, milestones, budgets, interdependencies, trade studies, concept of operations, operational requirements, assumptions, risks, throughout L&R activities including rescue contingencies for NASA\'s Artemis I missions and beyond.• Supports the NASA Element Operations Manager and the NASA L&R Director for spacecraft Underway Recovery Test (URT) planning and execution activities with an interagency team that will recover the Orion capsule upon return to Earth during an end-of-mission landing off the coast of San Diego, California within two hours of landing.• Participates in working groups, design reviews, technical interchange meetings, technical performance meetings, teleconferences, document reviews and design implementation solutions supporting NASA Civil Servant counterparts, DoD, Operations Support Contractor, and multiple engineering disciplines. Serve as NASA liaison for nominal, rescue and retrieval operations with DoD Human Space Flight Support at Patrick Air Force Base.• Provide NASA management briefings regarding L&R Operations Planning, Schedules, Operations and Maintenance Requirements and Specifications (OMRS) to meet need dates of the operations support contractor responsible for WAD development. Facilitated with planning and coordination of program support requirements, System Acceptance events for Crew vehicle recovery, ground support equipment and associated subsystems.
