ABOUT JACK SANTANELLO

My education at U of O was more rewarding than I ever expected. Majoring in International Studies with a concentration on Business gave me invaluable insights into how the U.S. economy and other world markets interact and affect one another, as well as helped me identify the ways in which cultural, governmental and environmental influences historically impact us on a global scale. In addition, I studied Italian Language for nearly 4 years and was fortunate to be able to put my language proficiency to use while participating in a semester long wine & culture program through GEO (Global Education Oregon) in partnership with the University of Siena, Italy during the Spring 2018. While there, my focus was on Wine & Culture in Italy which included an exploration of the ways in which art, history, wine and food not only attribute to the country\'s rich culture, but have greatly influenced global societies for centuries. I was able to explore various parts of the country\'s Tuscan Region, visit museums of art & history, as well as historic landmarks and learn much about the origins of wine. It was cultural immersion at its best, and a wonderful example of how enriching and fulfilling it is to visit various parts of the world.After gaining experience in sales and business development within the wine and cannabis industries for three years, I decided to expand my knowledge into the world of pharmaceuticals through Bausch Health. Here, I am learning the ways in which antidepressants have had a tremendous impact on treating mental illnesses such as major depressive disorder and seasonal affective disorder, and I strive to offer the best support I can to the patients of Neurology, Psychiatry, Primary Care, and Family Practice physicians.
