Tristan is deeply passionate about Digital Convergence, Smart Cities, IoT, Rural Connectivity and Advanced Technologies which can create real human, business and social benefits.As a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) by background, and with a strong focus on project delivery and client service, Tristan is a recognised Data & Telco industry leader with 25 years experience in NZ, Australia and the UK. Tristan has a proven track record in the area of project governance and directorship, leadership, engineering design and digital advisory services across wide range of Data & Telco infrastructure deployments including mobile and fixed networks, core nodes and exchanges, co-location facilities, data centres, disaster recovery facilities and mission critical systems for a range of public and private enterprises. Tristan is the TUANZ representative on the NZ IoT Alliance (NZIoTA), a cross industry and government collaboration, working together to establish and scale up the IoT market in NZ. Tristan is on board of TUANZ Board where he has been the Chair since 2019. Tristan is also a father of five, lifestyle farmer and volunteer firefighter.
