ABOUT HENRY KOON
I am a Junior at the University of Georgia where I am a double major with majors in both the Terry College of Business and the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. In Terry I am studying Real Estate. In Franklin I am within the interdisciplinary studies program where I have created my own major studying the nature of Story through the lenses of history, religion, philosophy, political science and literature. In Athens, I am an intern for The Fight Against Suicide, which is an annual boxing event to raise money and awareness for men\'s mental health. This past summer I worked at Latigo Ranch in Colorado where I worked in a variety of capacities to fit the ranch\'s needs including such designations as construction, irrigation, landscaping, logging, herding, hospitality and Scout camp. Other work I have been involved with includes, starting and operating H&H sports camp for 5 years where we had over 120 campers and grossed over with minimal expenses, as well as starting a landscaping and pressure washing service, working in tree service, and also interning for B.E. Singleton’s Bulkhead Construction division. I am an avid outdoorsman, an eagle scout and have led many backpacking expeditions including a leading 2023 JMT completion during record snow levels. I am an adventurer by nature, excited by the unknown and always ready for a challenge.
