ABOUT HEMANTH REDDY CHEERUKA
I am a junior Computer Science undergraduate (5th semester) at the University of North Texas, passionate about solving problems with technology and eager to gain hands-on experience through internships and real-world applications. With a strong academic foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, Systems Programming, and Digital Logic Design, I enjoy exploring how software can create meaningful impact. My technical background includes experience with C, C++, Python, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio and Microsoft Office across Windows, Linux, and macOS. These skills have been built through coursework, projects, and research experiences that strengthened both my problem-solving ability and my adaptability in different technical environments.Beyond academics, I serve as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where I provide personalized guidance, proctoring, and tutoring support. This role has helped me sharpen my communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. I have also earned recognition on the President’s List, am an active member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and contribute to the Indian Students Association at UNT.As I continue developing my technical and leadership abilities, I am seeking internship opportunities in software engineering and related fields, where I can apply my knowledge, contribute to impactful projects, and grow as a professional.
