ABOUT HANNAH BLAND
Focused on all aspects of retail, I am passionate about promoting the industry. Having worked my way up from part time while studying Law I have been fortunate enough to have worked in an industry that is constantly changing and evolving. Currently I am a Buyer with Bargain Chemist. Prior to this I was a Liquor Category and Promotions planner, a category close to my heart! I love to continually be learning and improving, which has led to study WSET and recently achieve a Pass with Merit for Level 3.I have enjoyed in my career the opportunity to develop as a buyer with a premier department store retailer, prior to extending into category management with a nationwide retailer in FMCG. Following this I moved into Account Management in retail recruitment before stepping into business ownership owning the first franchise in NZ for RWR. Most recently I have spent 4 years as a category manager for Trents Wholesale, focused on Liquor, Chilled, Frozen and Packaging, so enjoy a challenging and multifaceted role.
