I am committed to working toward Arizona\'s resiliency. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies (with affiliates around the world working in their own political environments) to address climate change. In order to generate the political will necessary for passage of CCL\'s Carbon Fee and Dividend proposal, volunteers, engage elected officials, the media and the public. This is one of the few mitigation-oriented strategies currently available to citizens on the national level, and I am part of a committed team raising resiliency awareness in the Valley. In addition to on-gong lobbying activities, in February 2015 we partnered with the Desert Botanical Garden to bring a conservation-oriented audience of 150 to hear presentations from state climatologist Nancy Selover, CAP board member Jim Holway and Desert Botanical Garden researcher Kevin Hultine. In November 2015 we participated in a coalition to raise awareness about COP21, and supported a double-booth at the Green Planet Festival and two climate-oriented speakers, David Zarembka from the African Great Lakes Region, and Peterson Toscano of the \"Climate Stew\" podcast. We are currently active in all kinds of outreach activities including building a state-wide list of Endorsers for taking action to address climate.
