As a Manager, Team Lead, Quality Assurance, and Senior Claims Specialist at Pilot Catastrophe Service, I have lead a team of up to 52 Claims Specialists in the complex auto liability segment for an insurance carrier, as well as two teams in large loss property claims for another insurance carrier. I implement strategic production metrics, complete in depth file reviews, facilitate weekly meetings and lead presentations to ensure best quality practices for accurate claims handling and ultimately a fair and positive experience for the consumer. With more than ten years of experience in the insurance industry, I have handled a loss of up to including the dwelling, other structures, personal property, and additional living expense. I have had up to in authority approval limits, negotiate, settle and work with insureds, claimants, engineers, public adjusters and attorneys. I also have a certification in TESOL/TESL/TEFL and a strong background in sales, business development, and team building.
