ABOUT GABOR HOLLBECK
Gabor Hollbeck is a physics graduate researcher at ETH Zürich, focused on computational social science, exploring the intersection of complexity science and opinion dynamics. He is the project lead and founder of Electomate, fostering R&D in the field of AI4Democracy. He is also working on Diplomatica.ai, an AI-driven platform that simulates real-life conversations to build emotional intelligence, wisdom, and conflict resolution skills.Most recently, he entered AI safety research by co-authoring a paper on LLM refusal composition analysis in IFT datasets, which was presented at NeurIPS 2024. Additionally, he helped establish the ETH Alt Protein Project (APP), a think tank focused on innovative, ethical approaches to sustainable alternative food production.Through these ventures, Hollbeck combines expertise in AI technology and computational social science, working towards impactful solutions for some of humanity\'s most pressing challenges: the preservation of democracy, AI safety, and climate change.
