Responsible for analysis, maintenance, enhancement, and documentation of the Medicaid Management Information System Faculties communication between program areas to elicit, analyze and validate requirements for changes to the MMIS system Identified business problems, define requirements, and propose solutions to the MMIS system Performed user acceptance testing analysis ensuring MMIS test claims are assessable and requirements are understood Coordinates and/or completed claims recycle job within MMIS ensuing applicable SAS reports after claims recycled are provided to appropriate staff Coordinates National Coding and Pricing updates generated by CMS and Medicare to the Medicaid Reimbursement System to correct payments are made to Medicaid Providers Maintain MMIS Fund Code and Recipient Special Programs overlap, ensuring that Medicaid claim expenditures are posting to the correct funding source Research, troubleshoot and provide resolution for claim related issues
