Also with the Joint Commission (JCAHO).• Lead initiatives to provide high-quality care while maintaining operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility. • A Certified MD NHA Preceptor Actively training two AIT partners, fostering future leadership within the organization and industry.• Conduct environmental round’s, clinical & safety inspections to monitor established safety regulations, Infection Prevention and care plans with the Assistant Administrator(AITs), DHS (DON), IDT teams, Facility and Environmental Management Directors.Charlotte Hall Veterans Home is a program under the Maryland State Department of Veterans & Military Families. Edward C. Rothstein is Acting Secretary of the Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families under Governor Wes Moore and the Program Director is Colonel John Lombardi. Opened CHVH in 1985 - The home is situated on 126 beautiful acres in St. Mary’s county, Celebrating 40 years of “Serving Those Who Served”Charlotte Hall offers 318 (SNF) Skilled Nursing Beds + 126 (ALF) Assisted Living Beds and a secured memory care unit, although we are not a continuous care center we ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing long-term care facilities. Under the direction of Pruitt Health Area Vice President, to lead efforts to providing high quality of care for our residents while maintaining operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility. The home is inspected Annually by OHCQ for SNF, ALF and LSC surveys were conducted in 2025. Charlotte Hall Veterans Home was approved to be in compliance by OHCQ. The center agency surveys licensure/JCAHO and VA surveys were also conducted and approved to be in compliance with no harm and minimal citations that were corrected while honoring patients/ resident rights.
