Lead a team of 5 professionals providing Master Data process, governance and technology services to Reynolds’ internal and external customers. • Performed a current state assessment of the Master Data people, process, governance and technology being used for the Customer, Finance, Material and Vendor domains and developed recommendations that are driving the current improvement roadmap noted in the remaining items below. • Put into effect a two-tier governance council structure constituted of director-level and below working teams and a VP-level and above steering team that spans business and IT functions. • Implemented a Master Data scorecard to measure key metrics of interest to our key stakeholders and drive improvement where targets are not being met. • Implemented over 100 data quality exception reports and a process by which those reports are reviewed and remediated if below business-defined targets by business stakeholders. • Instituted new governance processes (Mass Update, New Field Approval and Requests for Master Data Services) that ensure the appropriate review and approval occur before changes are made that affect multiple areas. • Developed, secured approval and socialized new Master Data standards and policies to ensure consistency in Master Data maintenance processes. • Solicited feedback from Master Data stakeholders, ranging from individual contributors to VPs in the form of a stakeholder survey on the Master Data team’s communication, timeliness of work, accuracy of work and level of business partnership to establish a baseline and drive improvement.
