Administer and manage real estate contracts involving complicated/multi-agency and multi-department issues.• Negotiate, draft, analyze, and administer purchase and sale agreements. • Negotiate, renew, and terminate leases, amendments, modifications, occupancy agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, licenses, easements, and right of entry agreements.• Manage all GSD lease receivables and payables. • Process Requests For City Council Action while coordinating with the City’s Legal Department, Agenda Office, and City Controller’s Office. • Negotiate and administer work product in compliance with State and Local Law, City of Houston Code of Ordinances, and Administrative Procedure Rules. • Participate in GSD Capital Improvement Plan budgeting and Price Budget Justifications submittals for land acquisition for client department projects. • Handle annual budgeting for Real Estate Group with hand-off to GSD Finance. • Work with Controller’s Office on Comprehensive Financial Annual Reporting report relating to City’s lease portfolio. • Coordinate with City\'s insurance department to review improvements scheduled to the City’s replacement-cost-new property insurance policy renewals.• Monitor GSD acquisitions and dispositions and provide Capital Asset Analysis report to City Finance, City Insurance, and Public Works & Engineering for reconciliation. • Respond to GSD Chief of Staff by providing Open Records Requests information. • Participate in interviewing and hiring staff, interviewing and reviewing Requests For Proposal and selecting project architects for GSD capital projects, and employee dispute resolution. • Assist with GSD Design & Construction projects, planning, and research. • Engage appraisers, surveyors, title companies, environmental assessments companies, and brokers.• Respond to requests from citizens, property owners, developers, City representatives, City officials, engineers, utility companies, and consultants.
