Leading the portfolio of IT separation programmes for Anglo American’s demerger and divestments of its Platinum, Steelmaking Coal, Nickel and De Beers businesses, reporting into the Group CIO. This includes- IT preparation for legal separation (“Day 1”) for the demerger of the Platinum business (now listed as Valterra Platinum), and Deal Close for the sales of the Nickel, Steelmaking Coal and De Beers businesses- Cloning of the IT ecosystems for each separated business so that they can operate independently of Anglo American at TSA exit, essentially building up the entire IT ecosystem from the bottom up- Driving synergies across concurrent separation programmes taking place across multiple geographies and time zones- Delivery of the separation programmes to schedule, scope and budget whilst also protecting Anglo American Group business-as-usual activities and priorities - Motivating a large programme team during a time of significant change and uncertainty, working in a high-pressure environment with frequently changing milestone dates due to external factors- Stakeholder and relationship management with the IT and wider business leadership teams in each of the separating businesses (including the Buyer organisations) to ensure smooth delivery of TSA services as well as successful delivery of the separation programme- Working in close collaboration with the Separation Management Office and other Group Functions to ensure all business and IT requirements are aligned in designing and delivering the separation activities
