About Brian Carrico

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead teams and operations across hospitality, retail, and multi-unit environments, overseeing multimillion-dollar businesses and teams of all sizes. Over that time I’ve learned something simple but important: numbers tell the story of a business, but people are the heartbeat that make it truly excel. My leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that great organizations are built by developing great people. Whether managing large operations, building teams, or launching new ventures, my focus has always been the same. Create environments where people can grow, take pride in their work, and contribute to something meaningful. I believe strong leaders set clear standards, lead by example, and invest in the success of the people around them. Today, as the General Manager of KidStrong Arcadia, I have the opportunity to focus that philosophy on youth development. KidStrong is a science-based program designed to help kids build strength not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. It has been proven to develop confidence, perseverance, and leadership from an early age. This work connects closely with my broader interest in human development. As the author of Filling Tanks: A Guide to a Full and Balanced Life, I explore the idea that people thrive when four core areas of life are filled: health, self-awareness, relationships, and fulfillment. Across every role I’ve held, my goal has remained the same: build strong teams, serve people well, and create environments where growth, integrity, and excellence are simply the way things are done. I’m always interested in connecting with leaders, educators, and organizations who share a passion for developing people and building stronger communities.
