As Principal Technical Architect for Pega\'s Design and Technical Solutions team, I work with clients to design modern enterprise software system architectures that achieve complex performance and resiliency business requirements. We see clients looking to modernize from a traditional on-prem system to use Kubernetes-based architectures with greater scalability and failover capabilities, plus leveraging PaaS versions of integrations and backing services that are easier to maintain. I deliver services via workshop-style design clinics as well as ongoing consulting to develop an architecture and overall modernization strategy and support the implementation and development of best practices and operational procedures. My areas of focus include container architecture, designing for high-availability and disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, data migration and replatforming, and implementation of chatbot and multi-channel agent chat products. I partner with clients and internal Pega product teams to create effective product feedback based on our real-world experiences and drive them through the feedback cycle to improve our products.I develop deep expertise in new capabilities and features of our products and promote adoption by clients who can use them to see increased value and reduced risk. I help our team grow both in size and scope of services by teaching technical enablement courses, interviewing candidates for the team, and mentoring team members as they learn and begin to deliver services around the same capabilities.
