   Bernard\'s primary responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction. Bernard serves his clients by developing and fostering long-term relationships with his clients, internal partners and client\'s vendors. On a day to day basis he coordinates the account administration for his custody clients. He also handles service requests from clients, partners and third parties. On an ongoing basis Bernard serves as a facilitator by ensuring all of Northern Trust\'s resources are available to meet his clients needs. Prior to his current role, Bernard served as an Account Manager for 4 years in the Corporate ERISA Group servicing Fortune 500 clients. This role required Bernard to serve as an operational liaison between the client\'s office, investment managers, consultants and Northern Trust. Bernard also focused specifically on ensuring client reporting data was complete, accurate and distributed to all appropriate parties. Bernard also ensured that all of his clients and counter-parties were well trained on all of Northern Trust\'s on-line reporting, cash movement, and investment applications.In 2003, Bernard left the Northern Trust to enlist in the U.S. Army. In 2007 Bernard completed his active military service and returned to Northern Trust.Prior to his seven years in client servicing, Bernard served as an Accounting Operations Team Leader for Public Fund and Taft-Hartley clients. In this role Bernard ensured that his team audited client reporting on a daily, monthly and annual basis for 25 Public Fund clients.
