ABOUT AREESHA AHMED
As a Biomedical Engineering student at Wayne State University, I am always striving to push the boundaries of innovation and make a positive influence around me. My passion for research and dedication to my studies have led me to excel as a Research Assistant for the Biomedical Engineering Department where I assist in lab projects studying vehicle crash science, injury mechanics, and ballistics. My interests and abilities extend beyond the classroom; I am a dedicated member of Delta Epsilon Mu, a pre-health professional fraternity, where I have found a community of like-minded individuals who share my drive for success. You can find me on the tennis court, competing for my university\'s Club Tennis team. I am also deeply involved in my community as the Youth Coordinator for the Islamic Center of Saginaw. This role has allowed me to utilize my leadership skills and make a difference in the lives of young individuals. I am constantly open to new experiences and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. I am a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning.
