ABOUT TIANA TRAN
Hi! My name is Tiana Tran, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, San Diego, working towards my Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a Concentration in Medicine Sciences. With a strong passion for healthcare and a keen interest in addressing systemic health challenges, I\'m deeply engaged in understanding the impact of social determinants of health. In my role as a Medical Assistant for an Internal Medicine Doctor in a low-income community, I\'ve witnessed firsthand how social factors such as socioeconomic status, education, environment, and access to healthcare services significantly influence individuals\' health outcomes. This experience has fueled my commitment to advocating for underserved communities and striving for a more equitable healthcare system. Furthermore, it has reinforced my aspiration to become a Physician and advocate for underserved communities, striving for a more equitable healthcare system. In my free time, I volunteer with non-profit healthcare organizations to provide innovative data interpretations, and I enjoy trying new foods and discovering milk tea places.
