Andrew Shuford, RN, MSN, MBA a Physician Alignment Executive, is a member of the Cerner Physician Alignment Organization. As an associate focused on utilizing his clinical, financial, solution knowledge, and credibility; Andrew represents Cerner across the physician community and assists healthcare organizations in optimizing their care delivery processes, governance and communication structures, behavior change management, achieving performance improvement, and driving measurable outcomes; both inside and outside of the electronic health record. In this role, Andrew Shuford is responsible for contributing to the development of Cerner solutions, services and sales support to your organization. He will facilitate physician acceptance, adoption, and usage of technologies to influence through the care delivery model design while leveraging Cerner solutions in a way that transcends their direct scope of influence. Prior to joining the Physician Alignment Organization, he was a Sr. Physician Strategist within the Clinical Adoption Organization at Cerner. Andrew also has broad knowledge and expertise in the overall Cerner solutions that optimize the care delivery process as well as the myriad of regulatory and accrediting challenges that organizations are faced with today. He has experience working with PowerChart, SurgiNet, FirstNet, and INet as a registered nurse in clinical practice. Prior to joining Cerner Corporation, Andrew Shuford was a Clinical Applications Specialist for 2.5 years at Carolinas Healthcare System. He served as the liaison between Information Systems and Levine Children\'s Hospital and previously a pediatric trauma and critical care nurse and assistant nurse manager at Levine Children’s Hospital where he worked clinically for 7 years. Andrew Shuford holds a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing from Gardner Webb University and a Master’s in Business Administration. He is licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
