As a Maintenance Lead at Westpharma, I am responsible for the effective maintenance and repair of moulding equipment and associated systems, including automation/robots, water heaters, oil heaters, conveyors, and hot runner controllers. I represent the maintenance department at shift meetings, coordinate daily issues with Production Group Leads (PGLs) and Value Stream Leads under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, and assign daily tasks to shift technicians and maintenance assistants. I am the first point of escalation for operational breakdowns in my area, actively participate in project work as assigned, and cover for the Maintenance Supervisor when necessary. I am also willing to work across multiple sites. I collaborate with Production Group Leaders (PGLs) in troubleshooting, establish relationships with customers and suppliers, and facilitate internal meetings to establish priorities. Furthermore, I work with the Quality department to resolve customer-related issues and research and implement new processes and/or systems, under the direction of the Operations Manager, with approved vendors. I also provide training and instruction in manufacturing-related skills and knowledge.\"
