ABOUT AMELIA MORRISON
I am currently a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Remarkable People. I currently work in Manufacturing, Logistics and Transport, Construction, Events and Hospitality industries. Remarkable People is a New Zealand owned and operated labour supply and recruitment company. Founded in Central Otago in 2016, we have grown from one branch to ten and now cover all of New Zealand. We are proud members of the RCSA, we are SiteSafe accredited members and we are also a certified construct safe testing center.I started my recruitment journey in 2016 working at STAT Recruitment as a Locum Account Manager placing Medical Professionals all over Australia for over 4 years after completing my Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) focused on Human Resources Management and Marketing from University of Canterbury. In addition, I have been given the opportunity to broaden my career and work in events. In 2018 I worked as an Events Coordinator for Tourism HQ for Spring Break Vanuatu and in 2019 I was the Door Manager for Symphony Christchurch.I am passionate about mentorship, leadership, personal development, and life coaching.I believe my superpower is connecting the right candidate with the right employer. I take the time to get to know both to ensure the right fit for both parties. I like to find out the team dynamics within a client and tailor my recruitment to their requirements. Finding out what motivates our candidates is particularly important to me whether the position be a one-off placement or a temp to perm position. I have won the Sourcr NZ Recruiter of the Year twice for the Hospitality Industry.In addition, I have won two internal awards for Remarkable People- Permanent Recruiter of the year 2022- Outstanding Customer Service Award 2023
