Nine years ago, I joined the United States Navy, grateful for the opportunities it presented: career, education, skills, valuable experiences, and a greater purpose. In addition, I am fortunate to have met mentors who motivated and encouraged me to be the best version of myself. My appreciation for these opportunities, coupled with my love for my job, allowed me to thrive and increase my positive contributions to both organization and culture.
