ABOUT ALESSANDRA SARTI

With over 25 years of experience in Clinical Research, combining deep scientific knowledge with strategic leadership and operational excellence. I began my career in clinical research as a study coordinator in together with my undergraduate degree, transitioning between pharmaceutical industry and CROs for almost two decades working with diverse therapeutic areas at local, regional and global levels.During this period, I held every professional development position required for a clinical research professional, from research assistant, CRA, Project Manager, CRA Line Manager, and Clinical Operations Manager. Recognized for my initiatives and leadership potential, I was promoted over the past 7 years based on merit and recognition of my resilience and high-performance standards, combined with a strong emphasis in people, enable me to excel in diverse environments. I acted as Therapeutic area head leading development of a therapeutic area from the ground up, transforming it into a local benchmark. I managed a structure made up of managers and clinical operations of almost 40 people, acting as a Sr executive of the management team. I also focused on creating and managing interfaces between clinical, medical and commercial teams. This has helped me develop the ability to translate scientific information for diverse audiences, facilitating communication between research and medical areas. I´m known for my empathetic leadership, enterprise mindset, problem-solving abilities and collaborative teams. I bring strong interpersonal communication, mentoring, and conflict-resolution skills, with a passion for developing talent and empowering future leaders. My ultimate motivation is to leave a lasting legacy, and I am actively seeking opportunities to maximize my influence and create meaningful impact on people
