Reporting to the Regional Director with full site accountability for the 24/7 operation of a 1.5M sq.ft. fully automated site employing up to 4k associates. Owning the productivity, delivery, cost, safety, quality and morale of the site through 12 functional heads. During this period, key challenges included full launch of the automated receive site to support network growth. This including hiring both the management team and employee from zero to full staffing, driving site culture and adherence to KPI controls. Key Operations Achievements from launch: • LBA4 managed the fastest IXD (Cross dock) launch in EU and quickest site to receipt over 10M units, within 11 weeks of launch. • Variable Cost per Unit (VCPU), 56% favorability the most recent IXD launch. • Productivity in WK11 after launch also showed 113% favorability v’s other IXD launches • LBA4 processed 96MM units in Q4;+210% to next closest launch. • Safety Index 80.7% favorable to launch target, and best in class worldwide for an IXD building. • Best in class for IXD in EU for outbound linehaul utilisation, increasing trailer capacity by 14%, v’s next closest building type, circa £1M cost saving (Q3 & Q4) • On Time Departures (OTD) LBA4 has consistently been the top performing IXD in EU for Q4, 2021 and continues with that trend into 2022. • Maintenance (OEE) downtime has shown a 62.2% reduction with last 2 quarters on 2021, now showing circa 94% an average OEE across site. • In October 2020, Adam was recognized as leading the number one site (LBA2) in the EU for developing and hiring female talent, this has continued within LBA4 in 2021, where the female ratio in the management team is 32%, which compliments the associates split where 33% of T1’s are female, with certain levels exceeded the ratio, L6 managers are now 35% female, and entire TOM team of 3 managers are also female in a very male dominated role.
