ABOUT ABBY MCCLURE
I am a higher education professional with a passion for connecting students to meaningful opportunities. In January 2026, I transitioned into the Division of Student Life as the Assistant Director for Employer Relations in the University of Maine\'s Career Center. In this role, I will work to build strategic employer partnerships and help students navigate their professional pathways. My goal is to empower students to turn their college experiences into career success while fostering relationships that benefit both the students and the organizations they connect with.Beginning in May 2025, I will pursue a Master of Science in Adult & Higher Education at the University of Southern Maine, with an expected graduation in 2027. This program will deepen my knowledge and enhance my ability to support students\' personal and professional growth.I am committed to fostering inclusive environments, meeting individuals where they are, and using my privilege to support others. As a lifelong learner, I aim to continually grow and create spaces where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered.
