I created a nonprofit called Savanna Sisterhood where we buy handmade bracelets made by female artisans in Kenya and all the proceeds from each bracelet sold go to anti-poaching foundations in Kenya; bracelets are made by Maasai women, and they create a sustainable livelihood for Maasai tribes through financial independence for women. I collaborated with international agencies to secure partnerships and sponsorships which required both negotiation and diplomacy. I sold over 267 bracelets, donated over impacted over 200 families, and received global recognition.
