Developed rate change calculations for core programs, enabling leadership to have in-house rate visibility for the first time, and to identify deficiencies in rate calculations being performed in parallel by insurance carrier partners. Built robust pricing and underwriting tools for Executive Liability, Dental E&S, and Lawyers E&S programs. Serving as interim policy systems, the tools accurately priced policies and mid-term policy modifications in accordance with regulatory filings, automatically generated bordereaux to send to carrier partners, and centrally housed the data to use for internal reporting. Created a comprehensive PowerBI dashboard to encompass KPIs across all core programs in one location. Allowed for streamlined oversight of premium growth, agency performance, rate change, and policy retention. Produced monthly bordereaux for insurance carrier partners, reconciling disparate source systems to guarantee accuracy, and identifying and resolving system defects.
